While Microsoft Power Platform delivers several robust and scalable components of a vast array of expandable business solutions, we also support quality alternative and complementary products including Airtable, Appsheet, Tableau and WordPress, which may better suit your business needs or ecosystem.
Tableau and Power BI are two of the leaders in the Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics space. Tableau was recently acquired by the tech giant Salesforce. It has a bit steeper learning curve (and features) than Power BI. You can use it to create great Visualizations and Dashboards. Tableau also has a great data preparation tool called Prep Builder. Similar to Power BI, you can connect to and pull in data from a large number of data sources. We’ve included an interactive dashboard on our Samples page to show some of its capabilities.
Microsoft recently added powerful Web Portal development capabilities to PowerApps, which we fully support. We also work with WordPress as an alternative or complementary platform. WordPress is a powerful blogging and website content management system (CMS), which according to W3Techs powers 34% of all the websites on Internet.
